Frequently asked questions
Which electronic signature methods are available?
See the signature options Scriboflow may show and why availability can vary.
Last updated August 26, 2026
Scriboflow can show signature options including drawing a signature, typing a signature, confirming with a checkbox and signing with MitID. The exact methods available for your contract are the ones displayed in its current signing settings.
Why the choices can differ
Availability can depend on your Scriboflow setup or subscription. Do not promise a recipient a particular method until you have confirmed that it appears for the contract you intend to send.
The methods create different recipient experiences. Your organisation remains responsible for choosing the method appropriate for the agreement and its own requirements. Scriboflow does not determine the legal suitability of a method for a particular contract.
The recipient does not need a Scriboflow account. They open the secure link and follow the steps for the method selected by the sender.
After signing
Scriboflow records the signing event in the contract history. When every required signee has completed the flow, the downloaded contract contains the agreement and an appended signature certificate with signing evidence.
For selection guidance, see Choose a signature method. For Scriboflow's documented evidence, see Understand contract history and signing evidence.
