Understand contract allowances

Your plan includes a set number of contracts that can be sent outside your Scriboflow organisation during each billing period.

When does a contract count?

A contract counts toward the organisation's allowance when it is successfully sent for review or signature to someone outside your Scriboflow organisation for the first time.

It counts once regardless of whether it was created from scratch, created from a template, imported, duplicated or created as a new draft from an existing contract.

Resending the same contract or sending a reminder does not make it count again.

What does not count?

• A contract that remains a draft
• A contract only signed by you or other members of your Scriboflow organisation
• An imported contract stored without being sent externally
• An unsuccessful sending attempt

If one of these contracts is later sent outside the organisation, it counts toward the allowance at the time of the first successful external send.

What happens after a contract counts?

Once a contract has been sent externally, later status changes do not restore the allowance. The contract continues to count if it is signed, returned with changes requested, rejected, voided, expired or archived.

When the allowance resets

• Monthly plans receive a new allowance at the start of each monthly billing period.
• Annual plans receive the full yearly allowance at the start of each annual billing period.

You can see the current contract usage under Settings > Billing.

When the allowance has been used, you can continue preparing drafts and signing contracts internally, but you cannot send another contract outside the organisation until the next billing period or until the organisation moves to a plan with a higher allowance. Existing contracts remain available.
