Understand owner, admin and member roles
Know who can manage roles, invitations and organisation membership.

Organisation roles determine who can manage access to a Scriboflow workspace. They are different from being a party or signee on a contract.
Owner
The owner controls organisation roles. Only an owner can promote a member to administrator, return an administrator to the Member role or make another available role change. The owner can also invite colleagues, resend or revoke invitations, and remove members.
Because role changes affect access across the organisation, the owner should review who needs administrative responsibility and keep the member list current.
Administrator
An administrator can manage invitations and organisation membership. This includes inviting colleagues, managing pending invitations and removing members who should no longer have access.
Administrators cannot manage organisation roles. If a colleague needs to become an administrator or return to the Member role, an owner must make that change.
Member
A member can work inside the organisation according to the product access available to them, but cannot manage organisation access. Members cannot invite colleagues, manage pending invitations, remove other members or change roles.
The role does not automatically decide who can sign an individual contract. A team member must still be added as a signee when their signature is required.
Choose the least access needed
Use the Member role for colleagues who do not need to administer workspace access. Reserve the Administrator role for people who are responsible for invitations and membership. For the steps, see Change a team member's role.
