Sending and signing
Understand the Scriboflow signing process
See how a reviewed contract moves from sending to completed electronic signatures.

Scriboflow brings the contract, signees and signing activity into one flow. External recipients can review and sign through a secure link without creating a Scriboflow account.
Prepare and send
Before sending, complete the terms, parties, signees, required data fields and attachments. Choose the signature method available for the contract and decide whether signees can act in any order or must sign in sequence.
Use Preview to check the complete document and recipient information. Then add the signing deadline, subject and email message. For deadlines and automatic reminders, see Manage signing deadlines and reminders.
Recipient actions
Each recipient receives a secure link for the contract. Through that link, they can review the document and use the actions available to them. A signee can sign, request changes or reject rather than accepting the agreement.
When signing order is enabled, Scriboflow gives access to the next signee after the previous required action is completed. Without an order, signees can act independently.
Track and complete
The contract status and activity history show sending and signing events. You can open the contract to see progress and resend an active signing link when a recipient needs a fresh email.
After all required signees sign, the contract becomes completed. Download the completed PDF for the agreement and its appended signature certificate, which records signing evidence. Keep the file with the organisation's contract record.
